Mom still makes it to church.

Birch is everyday help your parent can call. It gets to know what matters and helps get things done, on their terms.

How Birch works

Birch calls each week. They call when they need help. Birch follows through.

01

Gets to know them

A friendly weekly conversation about their life, their plans and whatever is on their mind.

02

Hears what they need

When something comes up, they call Birch and ask in their own words.

03

Works through the details

Birch explains the options, confirms the details and only moves forward when they say yes.

An older adult enjoying a phone conversation.

“Hi Mary. How was your visit with Emma?”

“Can you help me get to book club Thursday?”

“Ride found for 1:15. About $12. Would you like me to book it?”

Available now: friendly weekly calls and ride coordination. More everyday support is being developed through partner pilots.

For you

Your relationship is bigger than the to-do list.

So when you call, you can ask how book club went, not whether the ride got booked.

Questions families ask

If yours is not here, call us and ask.

An older couple holding hands on a park bench, laughing together.
Will my parent actually use it?

There's nothing to learn. They call one number, and a friendly voice that knows their name picks up.

What does it cost?

Plans start at $23 a month. Anything Birch books, like an Uber, is billed separately, and Birch always tells them the price first. See pricing →

Does my parent need a smartphone or an app?

No. Birch works on any phone. There's no app for them, and no app for you.

Who decides what I'm told?

They do. Texts go only to the people they choose, and only about what they're happy to share.

What happens in an emergency?

Birch keeps them on the line and brings in a colleague, who calls 911.

Is it available where they live?

We're starting small. Tell us where they are and we'll let you know when Birch reaches them.

Can their retirement residence offer it?

Yes. We work with retirement communities so residents can have Birch without extra work at the front desk.
